Supergeo announced that the Rural and Regional Development of Kedah State Development Corporation, Malaysia purchased SuperSurv 3.1, the Android-powered mobile GIS software, to improve field operations for facilitating long-term land use and agricultural plans and the balanced development.

GIS enables Kedah State Development Corporation to collect, integrate, manage, and report spatial data about the local population, industries, land, natural resources, etc; meanwhile performing advanced analysis for more informed decision and policy making in proper budget and resource allocation .

Supporting multi-language user interface, global coordinate system and common vector layer file such as GEO or .SHP, SuperSurv 3.1 improves field productivity with enhanced feature editing and layer management functions, providing land planers with detailed information of geographic distribution of land use change to plan sustainable economic development.

With an ambitious aim of increasing the market share in ASEAN, Supergeo will attend at Asia Geospatial Forum 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Quantum Inventions Launches First Live Traffic Information Service for Motorists in South East Asia

Singapore, 7th February 2013 – Quantum Inventions, a key provider of GPS navigation and traffic solutions in Asia Pacific, announced the launch of mapSYNQ, a map-based, traffic information service that provides real-time traffic data for the region. Available on the web and mobile, mapSYNQ is the first of its kind application that combines live traffic with personalized user information to offer motorists a seamless, one-stop application that addresses all their commuting needs.

“One of the key differences in mapSYNQ is the manner in which the information is accessed by users,” said Mohit Sindhwani, Head of Innovation at Quantum Inventions. “mapSYNQ offers traffic information to users in a personalized and contextual manner.
