Rediscover and Refine GIS Applications with SuperGIS Desktop 3.3

SuperGIS Desktop 3.3, the powerful GIS software developed by Supergeo, will be officially released in April. Within this upgrade, SuperGIS Desktop optimizes diverse functionalities including geodatabase, map drawing, Cache Generator, table data processing, etc., bringing you better and stronger user experiences.

SuperGIS Desktop 3.3 now ready to store and share raster data or form dataset in geodatabases, improving the usage and availability of spatial data and bringing more efficiency of spatial information applications.

Meanwhile, diverse vector symbols published by different professional institutions are provided in this edition, such as geological symbols standing for Oil shale, Limestone, Clay and so forth from U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), well-prepared for users to create and displaying different geological maps. The related symbol types offered by National Park System (NPS) and The Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGCD) can also be employed on maps cooperating themes of tourism, forest resource management, medical care, disaster rescue, etc.; therefore, users can design their maps in a more elaborate and precise way. Furthermore, you can also make good use of the whole new SuperGIS Text Symbol function within SuperGIS Desktop 3.3 to mark features with labels such as road sign or pipeline information on maps effortlessly according to label standards of different professional institutions, and create specialized maps on your own.

Enabling users to process spatial data flexibly, SuperGIS Desktop 3.3 also provide several form data processing functions, including Append, Create Table and so on, assisting our users in reducing time of pretreatment and duplication. By simple steps, you can mashup different tables to create a new one, or specify a table as the template to build more table with exactly the same structure. You can also design workflow of spatial data analyzing and processing more elastically through using functions like Undo and Data Dragging of Process Designer.

In addition, the latest Cache Generator coming with SuperGIS Desktop 3.3 supports parallel operation to generate map tiles. While dealing with large amount of data, you can employ data separation settings to divide your data and split map for multi-machine works. As a result, if you want to modify the layer data or data structure, you just need to replace the specified layer data without generating map tile all over again. Cache Generator within SuperGIS Desktop 3.3 will significantly simplify procedures, reduce time of map tile generation and assist users in boosting operation efficiency.
